Mondop allows you to design your Models, Business Logic and Web Services and Gui's. From these models the source code will be generated.
This code can be used as a base for further development.
The current state of development is very premature. The focus lies on some basic implementation of some core packages.
First of all my opinion is that there are numerous tools available, but none of them suit all my requirements.With Mondop i want to develop a solution that allows you to model the data structures and businessrules, processes, graphical user interfaces and machines interfaces. From these models the source code should be generated, which can be extended if needed.

Mondop should become a framework / toolkit that allows developers to define their business logic / procedures in a technology agnostic way. From these definitions code can be generated that meet the requirements of the user. The user has the possibility to manually add features to the generated parts.
This makes the perfect balance between speed of development and flexibility. It will allow users to easily adapt new techniques, platforms or architectures without having to reinvent the whole system. They just have to change the templates that generate the code to a new set that meet the new requirements.
